The food here was amazing!!! I got a chefs special which was a sushi roll with spicy crab mix and a ton of other stuff, but was topped with bulgogi! It was a chefs special. The service was nothing to call home about, if not lacking a bit, but nonetheless the food made it very much worth the visit. The inside of the restaurant was nice and had good lighting and seating.

While Sushi Kuma offers a visually appealing atmosphere, the quality of their sushi is horrible. One glaring issue is the excessive use of mayonnaise, which seems to be employed to mask the flavor of potentially old fish. This practice not only deviates from the authenticity of Japanese cuisine but also detracts from the overall dining experience. So if you like drinking mayo this place is for you!

Additionally, the service at Sushi Kuma leaves much to be desired. Throughout our dining experience, our waitress failed to check on us even once, leaving us to seek her out when we needed assistance, including requesting the check.

I've been to this place about a dozen times, and really liked it.... But today I went and got lunch went back to work and ate... Then a couple of hours later, my skin was turning bright red, head was throbbing, stomach all upset... Called an advice nurse, and apparently I got Scombroid poisoning, which is caused by improperly processing or storage of tuna

Scombroid poisoning occurs after the ingestion of fresh, canned or smoked fish with high histamine levels due to improper processing or storage. First described in conjunction with fish in the suborder Scombroidea (e.g., tuna and mackerel), it has since been described with other dark-fleshed fish (e.g., sardines and anchovies). Scombroid poisoning is one of the most common causes of morbidity associated with fish intake.

Be Careful, I'm not sure if I'll be eating there anymore

My Friday night Door Dash meal. Love their food and choices. I even pay the inflated extra mile fee to get it.

Went here on a quick lunch date after running some errands..I have been here in the past year and remember the sushi being good..

This time however was amazing. We ordered rolls we hadn't ordered previously. Once the doors were open we were greeted by the host staff. There was on person before us to be sat. They were quickly sat and we were seated shortly after then.

The restaurant was super clean and had a good vibe. Lots of cool pictures on the wall through out the restaurant. The decor and the flow of the restaurant was awesome. The parking outside was awesome as well , because there was so much of it in used.

We started of by ordering two rolls one which was fried and had crab, salmon and avacado..yum
The next roll was the California just your basic roll crab, cucumber yum.We also ordered there all famous and spectacular bulgogi beef street tacos..The beef is so tender and a bit sweet and you get so much with one order..Yum this is a must see the pictures below ..
We also ordered Sashimi with salmon..Yum after we were accomplished with those we ordered more.We ordered a crab, avacado and jalapeno roll so so good with a kick..yum

After we finished our rolls and tacos it was time for a nap lol. We paid and for all this food it was around 68.00. That included all food and service..If you haven't been here try them once and if you haven't tried the tacos maybe just start with those.. Seriously a game changer..did I say yum??..Yum..

My husband and I weren't impressed. The salad was drenched in the dressing. So much so that I poured a bowl's worth out. The miso soup is okay. The sashimi wasn't good. The roll and hand roll were okay However, I think there are better options in Roseville. Also, they never refilled my water and it wasn't busy.

They still had 30 mins before they closed. Danny signaled to the host that we couldn't be seated. Then the host asked if Togo was ok and Danny said well how many roles. people were still eating in the restaurant and the open sign was still on. very unwelcoming. will not be returning.

In a nutshell; Neat place to have sushi and watch sports at since they have a sushi bar side and two tvs playing sports.

They have a running 50% off all sushi roll combinations shtick going on , haven't had that in other sushi places I've been to yet so I thought that was interesting. The sushi was rather decent. Wait didn't take too long. Didn't take too long for our order to get taken as well granted we went an hour before closing time but was still accommodated rather well. The booth we were seated at was fairly comfortable. Overall good sushi, not the best but a certainly good place to just have sushi and watch some sports on the side.

Their sushi is so fresh, delicious, I'm not sure if they make their sauces differently than other sushi houses, but I do know that they are one of the best sushi places Roseville has to offer. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable about suggestions. They have other food items if you don't like sushi.
